Please carefully read the terms and conditions before booking.

Minimum Booking Requirements

• For peak season (May to October), the minimum booking requirement is 4 services (2 people getting both hair and makeup OR 4 individual makeup services/individual hair services.)
• Bookings that don’t reach the minimum on peak dates will still be charged at the equivalent minimum cost.

Quotes and Deposits

• You will be sent a quote upon your service request.
• Your booking date will be secured upon receipt of deposit.
• Any change in services or requirements should be requested via email as soon as possible. Once received, you will receive an updated quote and a contract.

• A 30% non-refundable booking fee is required to secure the wedding date and this amount is deducted from the final balance.
• Your date can only be held once you have paid your deposit. Without this reservation deposit the requested date will still be open to other enquiries.
• Trial payments are due at the time of booking your trial date.
• Final payment is due on the morning of the wedding day.
• By paying your non-refundable deposit you are agreeing and accepting to be bound to Kerry Riordan Artistry Terms + Conditions as outlined.
• Failure to make deposits within the agreed time frame may result in the cancellation of your booking.

• For deposits, I accept Interac e-Transfer (Interac email money transfer) and all major credit cards through PayPal via [email protected].
• Deposits must be received within 24 hours of booking to reserve the date.
• For remaining balance invoice, I accept cash, Interac e-Transfer (Interac email money transfer) and all major credit cards through PayPal..
• A 5% PayPal administration charge applies to clients within Canada, 7% for clients outside Canada. The percentage is based on the total cost of your booking.
• Cheques are not accepted.      

Large Bookings
One or more assistant artists is required for large bookings under any of the below circumstances;

• Bookings that exceed 3 people with hair and makeup services or 6 individual hair and/or makeup services.
• Where there isn’t enough time for to get everyone ready in the available time frame.
• If the venue has access time restrictions.
• To offer a later/more relaxed start time.
• The fee to book and secure an assistant artist for the wedding day is $100 per assistant.

Changes or Cancellations

• All changes to your bookings, including additions to services must be made via email and by the bride only at least 1 month in advance of the wedding date.
• Payments for work that has already been carried out is non-refundable.
• Deposits are non-refundable for your secured wedding date.
• Reductions to services made less than 1 month before the wedding date will still be payable in full at the discretion of Kerry Riordan Artistry.
• If services are reduced to less than the minimum booking requirements for peak wedding season the full minimum amount will still be charged.
• If I should become unavailable due to illness, injury or otherwise I will make every effort to find a replacement makeup artist of equivalent ability and cost and upon accepting replacement, your deposit will be transferred to that artist. If I am unable to find a replacement you will be refunded in full.
• In the unlikely event that we cannot find a replacement artist, monies (excluding money paid for work already carried out) will be fully refunded.
• If an assisting artist is needed for large party's and they are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances we may ask for an earlier start time to accommodate original numbers, or a refund can be offered on services that have been forfeited.
• Kerry Riordan Artistry reserves the right to cancel a booking following a trial, without a refund of the deposit, in circumstances where the client makes it difficult to carry out the work or has been inappropriate or uncooperative.

COVID-19 Related Postponements and Cancellations

• A new deposit may be needed to secure a new date should you wish to move or postpone your original date.
• Postponements that are being made due to a government enforced lockdown will be transferred with the original deposit.
• Any bookings that postpone to a different year may be subject to a yearly price increase.
• In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel the booking completely:
  • Cancelling within 3 months of the agreed wedding date = 30% of the remaining balance still due by original wedding date.
  • Cancelling 1 month or less prior to the wedding day = 50% of the remaining balance is still due.

Travel Costs

• Travel within the GTA is included. The GTA includes Toronto, Etobicoke, Scarbourough, Mississauga, Markham and Newmarket areas.
• Travel outside of these areas (under 100 km) is a flat rate of $50.
• Travel over 100 km (and under 200 km) from Toronto is a flat rate of $100.
• For travel over 200 km from Toronto, accommodation may be required and travel costs will be calculated based on time and kilometers.

Special Requirements

• Early morning bookings where the start time is before 7am for any reason, a $50 surcharge will be charged.
• Accommodation close to the wedding venue may be required for the night before the wedding if; journey time is over 2 hours one way, the start time is 6am or earlier, or there are other foreseeable events/delays.
• Hair extensions can be purchased or rented (subject to availability) through and start at $150.

Work Requirements

• For all hair and makeup services, a minimum of a cleared table/flat surface to set up on and a chair for the client to sit in is required.
• 15 minutes is allocated to set up and be ready in time to start services. If suitable conditions are not provided, Kerry Riordan Artistry cannot be held responsible for delays if time is lost due to this.

In the event of delays on the wedding day

• Kerry Riordan Artistry cannot be held accountable in the event of unforeseen delays on the day which are not under our control, including lateness of bridal party members for their scheduled time slots, delays caused by other vendors or misrepresentation of makeup and hair needs.
• If you are aware of factors which could delay or hinder our travel please advise us as soon as possible so we can factor this into our route. We cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen factors.
• Discounts are not given on services should you choose to use your own products on the day. We also cannot be held liable for the performance and longevity of the chosen product.

Indemnity
You, the client, agrees to hold careful and cautious Kerry Riordan and any assistants from any liability from allergic reactions, injuries, losses, damage,  costs, claims and actions that may occur to a client.
